Health they say is wealth, those with wealth without health, spend their wealth to get health, this spelling the arguable needs for sound health centers and hospitals for both rural and urban areas. There are health centers built either by the government or community or individuals, but without the supply of drugs, no equipment and even enough qualified medical staff. Some hospitals are too small for the community or individuals whereby they could not meet the need of the community; this gives rise to the high death rate per year especially amongst children. Some children become deformed because they lack adequate medical attention like, vaccine for polio, tuberculosis, etc. I used to have a neighbor who lost his mother just because he could not afford five thousand naira for his mother's treatment, but if there were medical facilities that were well equipped with free basic medical attention and treatment, some deaths could have been avoided. With the help of God we intend to contribute to this aspect too. Like building of clinics and health centers, supplying of free drugs to clinics and medical centers, helping to upgrade the under equipped medical centers. To also provide free medical medical services to the communities and provide public enlightenment and orientation on HIV/AIDS, malaria , sexually transmitted diseases, animal diseases such as bird flu, swine flu and mad cow disease including their prevention. Finally, information on cleanliness and environmental sanitation. |
